Overall awards for the series will be given out at the Arizona Cyclocross State Championships on December 17th, 2011. NOTE: must be present to accept awards. Promoter will not send out awards or allow a friend to collect.

Points breakdown:

1st—–15pts / 2nd—–12pts / 3rd—–10pts / 4th——8pts / 5th——6pts / 6th——5pts / 7th——4pts / 8th——3pts / 9th——2pts / 1–100th-1pt

These points WILL APPLY WITH NON AZCROSS.COM RACES!!!  Yes, you will earn points at the Focus Cyclery races! **no cash payouts at these races.

Prizes for overall series:

For the 2011 season we have a great list of prizes from Raleigh, Clif Bar, and Louis Garneau to dole out! See table below and take it in!

Promoter reserves the right to make changes without notice. **no cash payouts at NON AZCROSS races.

Louis Garneau Leader Jersey

After Race #1, Points leaders in each category will  be provided a Louis Garneau leader’s jersey.  Leader’s jerseys to be picked up at registration table 15 min before race start and returned after race completion.  Series leaders must wear jersey for the category they are leading only and failure to wear leader’s jersey will result in a loss of 5 series points.  Promoter will provide new or laundered points leader jerseys at the four qualifying events subsequent to the first race of the series.  If overall series leader is not present at a series event then the racer in second overall will wear the jersey and so on.

Callups

All series racers will get preferential starting assignment based on their overall place after race #1.  All series racers will be called up in order of their overall place in the series.  All other race participants will fall in behind the called up racers.

** denotes non AZCROSS.COM race

However as these races are not AZCROSS races, they will not have cash payouts, no demo bikes AND you may not get your FIRST RACE free at these events.  AZCROSS has added these races to our “community” calendar but they are run independent to AZCROSS and will be produced by Focus Cyclery therefore are different but similar:)
