Preliminary 411 on the newest AZ CROSS event – in the Old Pueblo. We are excited to have four days of racing in Tucson in 2013. Online registration slated to open on September 1 for all AZ CROSS events.

Events run at the same time will be scored separately and separated with a small gap at the start.

*Riders must not hold a USAC license. Event is intended for the general public and non-racers. Want to race? Race Cat. 5!

**Includes 1-day license cost

 

Prize disclosure: payout per race will not exceed $500. Prize list and depth to be announced on the start line.
Example: 20 riders in Men’s 1/2/3/4 = $600 entry fee. 600*.5= 300 to top 6 riders.


Bikes:
Knobby tires recommended, must have working brakes and mountain bikes must not have bar-ends.

 

Eligibility: All USAC rules apply. You must present a valid 2013 USAC license at registration. Category 5 Men, Women, Juniors, and Citizens are eligible to purchase One-day license for $10.

Registration: Available day of- closes 15 min prior to event. $10 day of fee (except for Citizen category). Opens at 7am.

Scoring: Results will be posted after the finish at registration.

 

Directions:

Race will be held at Christopher Columbus Park in Tucson, AZ

From Tucson:

Head west on Grant Road to Silverbell Road

Turn right (north) on Silverbell

Turn right (east) into Christopher Columbus Park in 2.75 miles.

Race parking is the north side of the park, follow the signs.

 

From Phoenix:

Head south on I-10
Exit onto Camino del Cerro/Ruthrauff Road
Turn right (west) on Camino del Cerro
Turn left (south) on Silverbell Road
Turn left (east) into Christopher Columbus Park
Race parking is the north side of the park, follow the signs.
