It seems like just yesterday we were in Flagstaff for a wonderful double cyclocross race weekend at Sin Agua high school. In reality that weekend was 8 weeks ago and we have had 4 more races in the meantime. The season has come to a close though and we now have to return to the mundane racing of road or mountain bikes .
Thank you very much Steve McNamee of Artisan Prosthetics for helping to make the cyclocross season possible as well as Tribe Multisport, Rooly glasses and Hammer Nutrition for the product, support and prizes. A big thank you to everyone who came out and raced this season. We hope to see you back next year with a friend or two in tow so we can spread the joy that is cyclocross racing.

November 22nd, 2009 by JB | No Comments »Come on out for Race 5 of the Artisan Prosthetics Cyclocross series presented by azCROSS.com! You’ve had a week off of racing and consumed mass quantities of food and drink – time to come on out and burn it all off! Happy Turkey day, now it’s time to get back on the horse, errrr….xcross bike ;-)
Race 5 is on November 28th @ Palo Verde Park! Come on out and race in the last race of the series. After race 5, there’s only the State champs left; then, cyclocross in AZ is gone for another year…oh the horror!
All the Race 5 info is right here:
http://azcross.com/mainsite/?page_id=44
Note that the start times and course open times have changed. Make sure you try and pre-register. Course opens for pre-run at 8:30am!!!
You can register online here: http://www.bikereg.com/events/register.asp?EventID=9408
We HIGHLY recommend you pre-register online – this ensures a rapid check-in and makes registration a little easier on the race staff. In addition, azCRoss picks up the bikereg fee so you don’t have to…all you pay is the race fee! If you wait ’til day of registration, you lose another $5. REGISTER ONLINE…IT SAVES YOU MONEY AND TIME!
