USA Cycling and AZ CROSS

Remember in 2013 all the AZ CROSS Series events are USA Cycling permitted and sanctioned. Make sure you understand the licensing requirements and fees prior to race day. Worst thing to do is show up expecting to race a certain category and not have the correct license. Some categories do not require an Annual License. Check out the complete information and FAQ’s below:

Additionally, to qualify for the State Championship in your category, you must be both an Arizona resident and an Annual License holder.

Save yourself  time on race day.

Tour de Fat this Saturday

As many of you know, we are on the Board at Mountain Bike Association of Arizona and this Saturday New Belgium Brewery’s best event the Tour de Fat comes to Tempe.

This is a major piece of the funding picture for MBAA – which is a not-for-profit organization. The dollars from this event (and your race entries) allow us to continue to host and produce the MBAA Series. Check out the event – and if you have time come on down and volunteer!

Remember – GLOBE is just a few days away – October 19. Are you ready?

Crossroads Park State Champs course

Get ready – walked the venue last weekend with local MTB/CX honcho and course designer, Rich Weiss. Lots of surprises coming your way….probably will be some of the most challenging racing we have done in Arizona. The goal – bring it all up a notch in 2013. We want to continue the evolution and build upon what Travis, Jeremy and Josh started..and this course will do that. Many thanks to rich and Oakley for all their support of AZ State CX Championships.

Stay tuned – more information and news to follow.
