Smackdown tomorrow – beautiful fall Arizona racing weather. Make sure you double check the schedule, and you can still register online. Also, make sure you check Series Standing and let me know with any questions.
Thanks to Chris and Dan for hosting us – and the El Grupo kids will be out in force! On-site registration opens at 7:30 a.m.
Been some questions on the Men’s Open race categories this weekend – it is the same as always – Men’s Open 1/2/3/4.
Also, I made some changes to the State Championships awards – going to give cash to the Men’s Open and Women’s 1/2 race ONLY. All other categories- merchandise and medals.
Also, note that we have separated the Women into two different races – a 1/2 and a 3/4 race. Women – please come out and race!
Good pics – more to come.
Great day – while not a classic AZ cyclocross day, it was a classic cross day by most standards. Awesome course, great facility, and good racing. Thank you all for coming out – some of the biggest fields of the year. The CAT 5 race was huge –
Keep checking for results to get posted..and Series Standings. Should be by end of day.
If you do not know the Horse Lovers Park story, you should check it out. Basically, as I understand it, a facility that was abandoned by the City and is now manged by a couple of passionate people and as a non-profit. Donate, support, and spread the word.
Next up – Smackdown here in the Old Pueblo at Quincie Park. Sunday…..register early, save time and money.
Word is that we race rain or shine – and it is raining! A reminder – online registration IS open – just at the higher rate. Save time in the rain tomorrow and register online.
Schedule remains as posted….even though the Park is closed today.
IF things change, no refunds or transfers of registration fees due to weather cancellation.
Keep checking back throughout the day, or first thing in the morning, to confirm schedule, etc.
