Series Guidelines

Race Schedule.  Please double check to insure your start time at each Series race. All start times will be posted on www.azcross.com

Race Results. There is a 15 minute protest period after preliminary results have been posted by the USA Cycling (USAC) Official. Any race result protests must be filed within this period with the USAC Official – any decision made by the USAC Official is final. No results will be modified/changed/edited after race results are posted as final. Please check race results on race day – do not go home and then check.

Staging Procedures. No more than 10 minutes before the scheduled race start time of each race all racers must report to staging area. Please make sure you are in the staging area at least 10 minutes before your race start. Racers will be staged based upon Series points after Race #1. USAC Official will give you brief race instructions – pulling procedures, race duration, etc. Please listen carefully as sometimes things change from what has been published. Categories may race together but are scored separately.

Race Start.  All Series races will be started by the USAC Official and on a whistle. Racers will be given a two minute warning, one minute warning, and a 30 second warning. The start may occur at any time after the 30 second warning.

Series Champion. Series Champions in each category will be awarded by the total points accumulated – with one race drop allowed. In case of tie, final race result is the tie-breaker. Series Championship awards – merchandise, and medals. You must race the Series Finals to qualify for Series Championship.
