New category added – Men’s 4/5

In hoping to add more racing for CAT 4 men, we have added a Men’s CAT 4/5 race to the AZ CROSS Series daily racing schedule and the overall Series competition. The additional race will encourage CAT 4 racers to race multiple times – also, it will give CAT 5 folks a chance to test themselves against the next step up the USA Cycling competition categories.

Here is the updated November 5-6 FLAGSTAFF schedule:

FLAT TIRE CROSS kicks off the season in great fashion.

Saturday saw blue skies, warm temperatures, and great fields! Racing was on point for early season cyclocross – complete with hand-ups, a few crashes, and lots of great performances.

The theme – maybe – lots of new faces to the AZ CROSS scene. Thank you all for your support. City of Globe steps up every year ad prepares the Community Center Park, and the CrankyCross duo of Mark and Matt sure do produce a nice event.

Check the complete race results here.

Next up – two days of racing in Flagstaff November 5-6.
