We have added several new categories, and changed one start time, to the December 20 State Championships schedule. Changes/additions in red.

Day 2 – Race around the Farm p/b Velo

Another race weekend came to a close on Sunday – a full schedule of collegiate categories, USA Cycling CX categories and the ever-popular Cranky Cross Kids Race.

The VR7 Village on Sunday with “Golden Ticket” schwag, was sweet. Thank you VR7 for your continued support of cycling in AZ – if your team/club needs a new kit for 2016, check their website out.

December 19-20 closes the season with two days of racing at Cross Roads Park in Gilbert. December 19 is CLIF Bar AZ CROSS powered by SRAM Series Finals.

Race Around The Farm Day 1 p/b JetSet Racing

Day 1 complete – good race day in the state of Arizona. Mother Nature Farm is one of the most iconic venues in the Series.

Day 2 ready to roll in a few hours – 9:00 a.m. first race start.  Reminder – no dogs are allowed on the property. this is private property, and we are guests. Please respect the property.

2015 Series Points

1.5X Series Points will be offered at:

  • Flat Tire Cross presented by Flat Tire Bike Shop (Globe)
  • Northern AZ CX  presented by Absolute Bikes (Flagstaff)

Double Series Points will be offered at:

  • AZ CROSS Series Finals p/b Bicycle Ranch (Gilbert)
  • Triple C CX presented by University of AZCycling (Tucson)

Racers will earn points for placing 1st through 10th place. The AZ Cross Series Champion for each category will be the racer who collects the greatest number of points (one race drop allowed). Final Series Standings will allow for one (1) race drop – meaning of the nine (9) Series races, a maximum eight (8) will count towards the Series Points total.

CLIF Bar AZ Cross Series powered by SRAM Standings have been updated after Turkey Burner and BH Bikes CX races. Please review individual race results and points assigned – then the cumulative totals for the Series.

Review the Series Information here – a couple of important notes. Double Series Points are on the line at the Series Finals on December 19. The Series allows one (1) race drop – your worst result will be dropped from the final Series points tabulation. In case of a tie in Series standings, your Finals race result is the tie-breaker.
